The Kazane is built into the fireplace and has an additional reversal mechanism for easier cleaning. The product is produced by traditional copper technology with a purity of 99.99%. The volume of the cauldron can be 40, 60, 80 and 100 liters. The useful volume is about 80% of the total.
To prevent the burning of the material, the kettle is equipped with a stirrer. It is made of brass and chrome-plated elements, resistant to the action of organic acids found in the cauldron during brewing. By turning the handle, the burning of the material is prevented, contributing to a more uniform heating and reducing the formation of foam and pomace during the distillation process, i.e. baking brandy. The stirrer should be rotated periodically, every 5-6 minutes, with several turns. When turning the mixer, the risk of burnout almost does not exist.
The dome of the Cauldron for Brandy collects the alcoholic fumes that come from the material (the Marc) and is directed to the coupling pipe (pipe), then enter the cooler. It is made of high-quality copper sheet with pear-shaped. A bimetal thermometer is installed on the tower, which is used to monitor the temperature in the cauldron. The connection between the tower, the cauldron and the pipe is made through a water sealing system.
Completely made of steel sheet with thickness 1.5 mm, with reinforced edges, door with latch and a drawer for ash. The stove has three legs, providing the necessary stability of the cauldron. It is painted with special paint, which withstand high temperature.
Reversal mechanism (cradle)
On the stove is installed and the overturning mechanism, with the help of a lever mounted on the cauldron it can easily be turned, thus facilitating its cleaning and separating the solid debris after the brewing process.
Connecting pipe (pipe)
This is the pipe connecting the Cauldron tower and the cooler. It is made of copper tube, with a length of 1300 mm and diameter 28 mm. And it serves as a pre-cooled, in which the steam begins to cool. Connecting the pipe to the tower and the cooler is made by means of a water sealing system.
The cooler is a water tank made of galvanized (standard) or stainless steel sheet with a thickness of 0.5 mm and a total capacity of 330 liters. In the vessel there is a coil of a copper tube with 5 threads. The lower end of the coil is released from the cooler and the finished alcoholic distillate is flowing from it. For maximum condensation of alcohol, the temperature of the cooling water should not be higher than 25 ° C. On the surface of the water flowing from the cooler it must reach no-more than 60 ° с. Therefore, during the distillation process, the temperature must be controlled and, if necessary, cold water should be topped up. At the same time, hot water flows through the overflow tube of the cooler. At the bottom of the cooler is located a crane, to discharge the water after the completion of brewing brandy.
